This is not a staged performance or a ceremony recreated for tourism. The journey is only organized when a local family voluntarily agrees to welcome the group as guests on the wedding day. During the 3-day, 2-night journey, guests will stay at a local homestay, learn about village life, accompany a family during the wedding preparations, learn about traditional customs, and attend the wedding of a family from a local ethnic community as invited guests. Each journey is only organized when a wedding is taking place in the village, and the program is only confirmed when the bride, groom and both families voluntarily agree to welcome the group as guests. The family’s privacy and decisions are always given priority throughout the journey.
Afternoon: Guests will walk around the village with the host family, visit the garden and livestock areas, and learn how local residents care for their animals, harvest vegetables and carry out their everyday work. This is an opportunity to experience the slow, simple yet vibrant rhythm of life in the highlands.
Evening: Guests will prepare a traditional meal together with the family and enjoy dishes made from local ingredients. After dinner, everyone will gather around the fire and listen to stories about wedding customs, daily life, beliefs and the culture of the ethnic community—simple stories that contain a rich collection of traditional values. Overnight at the homestay.
Afternoon: The atmosphere in the village becomes livelier as everyone prepares for the celebration. Guests may observe or assist with suitable tasks such as arranging tables, preparing vegetables, decorating the venue or carrying out other activities under the family’s guidance. Each stage reflects the strong bonds within the community and the spirit of sharing among highland residents. When the wedding rituals begin, guests will become part of the formal yet warm atmosphere of a genuine traditional wedding. Guests may offer their congratulations to the bride and groom and share a meal with the family. Drinking local rice wine is entirely voluntary. Guests can listen to the joyful laughter and experience the sincerity with which local people welcome visitors from afar. This is not only a wedding feast but also an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the values of family and community, as well as the cultural traditions that continue to be preserved in the mountains of Tuyen Quang. Overnight at the homestay.
06:00: Guests will wake up, enjoy the highland atmosphere and have breakfast at the homestay. After breakfast, guests may enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the village. If the departure date coincides with the local market schedule and time permits, the group may visit a local market. This activity cannot be guaranteed on every journey. Lunch: Before saying goodbye, guests will share an intimate meal with the host family. Handshakes, farewells and warm, genuine smiles will bring the journey to a close with unforgettable memories.
13:30: Guests will board the vehicle and return to Hanoi, concluding the program. We look forward to welcoming you on future journeys.
