Day-by-day Itinerary

DAY 1: HANOI – THUONG LAM (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

06:00: Meet your driver and English-speaking guide at the designated meeting point in Hanoi and depart for Thuong Lam, Tuyen Quang. Stop en route for breakfast at a local restaurant.

12:00: Arrive in Thuong Lam and enjoy a traditional lunch featuring regional specialties. After lunch, check in to your homestay and take some time to relax. Afternoon – Take a leisurely walk through the village and surrounding agricultural landscape of Thuong Lam. Subject to your guide’s arrangements and the host family’s availability, visit a traditional Tay household to learn about the unique architecture of Tay stilt houses and gain insight into everyday village life. Discover the traditional art of Tay brocade weaving and try a simple weaving technique under the guidance of a local artisan.

19:00: Enjoy dinner at the homestay, featuring authentic dishes prepared with fresh local ingredients.

20:00: Join an evening cultural exchange with the local community. Experience the enchanting melodies of Then singing accompanied by the traditional Tinh lute, enjoy traditional dances, and take part in a lively bamboo dance performance. Overnight in a community stilt house. Guests sleep on individual mattresses in a shared sleeping area with shared bathroom facilities and hot water.

DAY 2: THUONG LAM – NA HANG–LAM BINH ECO-LAKE – HONG THAI (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

07:00: Wake up and enjoy breakfast at the homestay before checking out.

08:30: Transfer to Thuong Lam Boat Pier and board your boat to begin a scenic cruise across Na Hang–Lam Binh Lake. During the journey, you will:

• Admire the majestic limestone mountains reflected in the emerald waters.

• Immerse yourself in the vast, tranquil natural surroundings.

09:00: Enjoy the scenery and take photos at Cọc Vài Phạ, one of the symbols of the Na Hang – Lam Binh lake area. You are free to admire the majestic mountain landscape, the blue lake and the rocky cliffs rising from the water. In particular, you will have the opportunity to experience kayaking/SUP, relax and enjoy the scenery in the middle of the lake, immersing yourself in the pristine and magnificent natural surroundings.

10:00: Arrive at Khuoi Nhi Waterfall and enjoy a short excursion to explore this beautiful natural attraction, surrounded by pristine forest.

12:00: Savor a traditional lunch served on board while cruising through the breathtaking lake scenery.

14:00: Disembark at Na Hang Pier, where your vehicle will be waiting to transfer you to Hong Thai Village.

15:30: Arrive in Hong Thai, check in to your homestay, and enjoy some time to relax. Afternoon – Take a leisurely walk around the village to admire the mountain scenery and gain insight into local life through your guide’s introduction. Stroll along peaceful village paths, observe the daily activities of local residents, and soak up the tranquil atmosphere of this highland community.

18:30: Enjoy dinner at the homestay, featuring authentic local specialties prepared with fresh regional ingredients. Evening – Relax at your own pace and enjoy the cool, peaceful atmosphere of the mountains. Overnight in Hong Thai.

DAY 3: HONG THAI – CLOUD HUNTING – TREKKING – HANOI (Breakfast & Lunch)

05:30: Wake up early and travel to a scenic viewpoint to watch the sunrise and enjoy a cloud-hunting experience, weather permitting. • Watch the sun rise above a sea of clouds stretching across the mountain peaks. • Breathe in the crisp, refreshing air that is characteristic of Vietnam’s highlands.

07:00: Enjoy breakfast at the homestay. After breakfast: • Take a gentle walk to a nearby hilltop viewpoint overlooking the village. • Admire panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, forests, and traditional villages. • Visit the Hong Thai pear orchards, where blossoms or fruit can be seen depending on the season and natural conditions. • Learn about the agricultural practices and daily life of local highland communities.

12:00: Enjoy lunch at the homestay.

13:00: Depart for Hanoi. Along the way, the group will make a stop at a suitable rest area. Guests will have the opportunity to purchase local specialties and regional products if they wish. Estimated arrival in Hanoi is around 19:00, depending on traffic conditions. End of the tour.
