Born and raised in a Tay family in the mountains of Tuyen Quang, founder Chẩu Hoàng Linh Nga grew up with sweet lullabies, Then folk songs, the warm family hearth, and the close bond of her local community. These simple, precious values gave her a deep love for indigenous culture and a strong wish to share the true beauty of Northern Vietnam with international friends.
From this heartfelt love and local understanding, Hidden North Vietnam was created and is operated by Công ty TNHH Thương mại Du lịch Cô Sơn Nữ. Every journey is crafted with local people, offering authentic, private, and community-responsible travel experiences.

I’ve only been in the city for one day and couldn’t have made better use of my time. The tour was incredibly good. Since there were no other participants, I had the tour guide (Mr. Phan) all to myself. The tour took place in the morning and was very informative, educational, but also entertaining and funny. I highly recommend it and would book another tour anytime!

Hidden North Vietnam organized our village and Khuoi Nhi Waterfall tour in Tuyen Quang. They used a boat with a fan-assisted natural ventilation system, even though our group had fewer than 20 people. The guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and spoke excellent English.
