Day-by-day Itinerary

DAY 1: HANOI – HA GIANG – QUAN BA – YEN MINH (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

06:00: The vehicle and tour guide will pick you up at the designated meeting points in the Hanoi Old Quarter and at the Hanoi Opera House, then depart for Ha Giang. You will stop for a rest and have breakfast at a restaurant along the way.

11:00: Lunch at a local restaurant.

14:30: Upon arrival in central Ha Giang, the group will stop to take photographs at the Km 0 Milestone.

16:30: Stop at Quan Ba Heaven Gate to admire the panoramic view of the valley and the Quan Ba Twin Mountains.

17:30: Arrive in Yen Minh. Check in and rest.

18:30: Dinner, followed by free time to relax. Overnight in Yen Minh.

DAY 2: YEN MINH – LUNG CU – LO LO CHAI – DONG VAN – NHO QUE RIVER – MA PI LENG – PA VI (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Evening: Dinner at the accommodation, followed by free time to relax. Overnight in Pa Vi.

DAY 3: PA VI – MEO VAC – HA GIANG – HANOI Meals: (Breakfast, Lunch)

06:30: Have breakfast, check out and depart for Ha Giang. On the way back to Ha Giang, the group will stop for breaks at suitable locations, depending on actual traffic conditions and available time.

12:00: Lunch in Ha Giang City. After lunch, continue the journey back to Hanoi. At approximately 19:00, the vehicle will drop off guests at Noi Bai International Airport, provided that this service has been registered in advance. At approximately 20:30, the group will arrive in central Hanoi, depending on traffic conditions. End of the tour.

  • Two nights’ accommodation, based on two guests sharing one room. In the event of an odd number of guests, a single-room surcharge will apply, or a triple room may be arranged with the guest’s prior consent:
  • One night at a standard hotel in Yen Minh
  • One night at a homestay in Pa Vi Community-Based Tourism Cultural Village, based on two guests sharing one room
  • Five main meals according to the itinerary, served with local set menus. Please provide advance notice of any vegetarian diet, allergies or special dietary requirements
  • Three standard breakfasts
  • Entrance tickets to the attractions included in the itinerary. Boat ticket for the Nho Que River sightseeing trip as stated in the itinerary
  • An English-speaking tour guide accompanying the group throughout the journey
  • Drinking water provided on the vehicle: one 500 ml bottle per guest per day
  • Value-added tax invoice in accordance with regulations
  • Surcharge for foreign visitors for registration procedures required when traveling to the border area

  • Electric vehicles or shuttle transportation at Lung Cu and at any locations not specified in the “Tour Price Includes” section. The applicable cost will be advised before the guest uses the service
  • Drinks during meals, drinks at the hotel and other personal expenses
  • Other services and expenses not mentioned in the itinerary
  • Tips are not included in the tour price. The recommended amount for the tour guide and driver is USD 3 per guest per day. Tipping is entirely voluntary

  • Ha Giang – Dong Van: steep passes; mist and rain can appear suddenly.
  • The guide may change visit order for weather, traffic, or site hours; core experiences stay unless force majeure.

Highland-road safety

  • Assess your fitness; notify us of medical conditions, pregnancy, allergies, or mobility limits.
  • Use seatbelts; do not stand at cliff edges for photos.
  • This itinerary is a karst-plateau road journey — no lake-boat cruise.
