Hidden North Vietnam was born from a deep love for local villages of a native Tay woman with her strong belief: travel is not just about seeing beautiful places. It is also a way to connect people with people and a place where culture becomes real stories that travelers can touch and feel.
As an indigenous travel brand under Công ty TNHH Thương mại Du lịch Cô Sơn Nữ, Hidden North Vietnam focuses on designing and organizing experiential journeys across the northern mountains of Vietnam — a land that still preserves authentic traditions, majestic nature, and meaningful community life.
Through every trip, travelers can discover the close bond between people and nature, feel the stories, beliefs, and desires in traditional festivals; learn the meaning of patterns on handwoven brocade fabrics; and enjoy food with the rich flavors of the mountains. I was born and raised in Tuyen Quang, one of the provinces in VietNam’s northern mountainous region. A place where diverse ethnic communities have lived together for generations, preserving and passing down their cultural heritage through generations.
I am a member of the Tày ethnic community. Her childhood was closely tied to traditional stilt houses, the sweet melodies of the Đàn tính lute during village festival nights, simple Then folk songs, vibrant highland markets, and the warm neighborly spirit of the Tay community. These early experiences nurtured a deep pride in her ethnic heritage, while inspiring a dream to preserve and share her homeland’s cultural values with international travelers.
From that passion, Hidden North Vietnam was born — with the hope of becoming a bridge connecting international friends to unspoiled landscapes, cultures rich in identity, and local communities who preserve their precious values every day.
I believe travel is more than just a journey.
It is a connection between people.
It is a chance to understand, to love, and to embrace cultural differences.
And above all, I believe travel can become a bridge — connecting people with people, the past with the present, and indigenous culture with friends from all corners of the world.
